Life Cycle Costing
Life Cycle Costing (LCC) should be incorporated into every construction project in parallel with effective cost planning. By developing the LCC model early in the design and development process, stakeholders can effectively manage financial aspects based on the total cost of ownership from the outset.
Red Sterling Consulting’s LCC service will assist in predicting your asset cashflow and/or allow for an optional appraisal at design stages to find the preferable system, component, or product. It follows the reporting guidelines and hierarchical framework of the International Cost Management Standard (ICMS) and aligns with the latest British Standard and International Standard for the standard Method of Life Cycle Costing for Construction Procurement, which defines the process as:
“methodology for the systematic economic evaluations of the life cycle costs over a period of analysis, as defined in the agreed scope”
Life Cycle Assessment (Carbon)
A Life Cycle Assessment gives stakeholders the information required to make informed strategic and operational decisions. Through quantifying and assessing potential Green House Gas (GHG) production, changes in design can lead to a more sustainable built asset over its life cycle.
